What is the difference between the Simpson II and the Simpson III
tents please. Thanks for the assistance - just trying to make a decision. Yes, I know the Simpson II has been superceded.

From memory there isn't much. I think the only difference is the Simpson III had twist lock mechanisms to pull the support poles outwards for the part that goes over the ladder. The Simpson II also has a large "U" shaped pole that goes out over the ladder which has be removed and placed in the tent when in transit. If that makes sense?
